This group was conceptualized and started by Aman in the mid of 2019, after noticing that the majority of online communities for Canadian Muslims were largely consisting of people who were not from India.
Indian Muslims are perhaps the only South Asian Muslim community which knows what it is like to live as a minority community in their homeland. Indian Muslims know very well how to co-exist with other cultures and religions, and thus many of us often felt like a misfit among Muslims Canadians originating from Muslim majority countries.
We started off as a Whatsapp group and that’s where we hangout as of now.
Aman created the group on Whatsapp, Mirza and Shaik were the first members and admins of the group along with Aman.
